India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that heavy to very heavy rainfall was likely to continue over North East region till April 27, 2025.
In its bulletin, IMD stated that fairly widespread to widespread light/moderate rainfall accompanied with thunderstorm, lightning & gusty winds was likely over the region.
IMD stated that heavy to very heavy rainfall was likely over Assam & Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh during April 23-27 and heavy rainfall over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura on April 23 & 25.
