WHS, market inaugurated at Piphema

A Water Harvesting Structure (WHS) and marketing shed constructed under the Nagaland Forest Management Project (NFMP) funded by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) was inaugurated on November 29 at Piphema Old Village.
A press release by Divisional Management Unit (DMU) Dimapur stated that while inaugurating the WSH and marketing shed, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Head of Forest Force (PCCF & HoFF) Nagaland, and chief project director, NFMP, Dharmendra Prakash encouraged the villagers and the NFMP team to continue to support and cooperate with each other.
DMU Dimapur informed that the WSH and marketing shed was constructed so as to provide easy access for collection of rain water and also to create a permanent structure for selling local goods by the Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in and around the village area.
The inaugural programme was chaired by ACF cum ADMU head Dimapur, Vivika Sema and invocation was said by by Piphema Old Baptist Church Pastor Keneilhoukholie Kuotsu.
