Wka dist construction workers society formed

New trainees of “the year of construction workers” have formed the Wokha District Construction Workers Society (WDCWS) on July 31, to provide well experienced and skilled workers to both the private and government sectors in construction .
A press note by WDCWS general secretary, P. Nchumthung Tungoe stated that SDO (Civil) Wokha, T. Lanusenla Longkumer inaugurated the new society. Lanusenla in her address encouraged the society to be humble and concerned while delivering the service to the people. She also advised to bring out uniform rate/charges as per national or state government rates in construction works for transparency and corruption free society.
The guest of honour was government ITI principal Wokha. Chief Manager (LDM) Wokha and Zubemo Tsanglao asst. director Skill Dev & Entrepreneurship were the special invites.
Zubemo Tsanglao spoke about the latest technology in construction sector while a brief introduction of skill builders’ office motto was explained by Elonthung Ezung, treasurer secretary. Vote of thanks was pronounced by president WDCWS, Zubenthung Ngullie.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by P. Nchumthung Tungoe and invocation prayer pronounced by Senlamo Kikon deacon (WTBC).
