As per the survey conducted by the committee for acquisition of compensated land during construction of two-lane road from Km72.400 to Km83.000 on NH-6I (New NH-02) under Wokha, the Wokha district administration has notified that unauthorized structures would be removed by use of force on Feb 1, 2024 starting from 7am at Wokha.
In a notice, DC Wokha, Ajit Kumar Ranjan, has informed all concerned to be present positively. It may be mentioned that on Jan 9, 2024, Lotha organisations reminded that the people of Wokha have been eagerly awaiting the upgradation of NH-2 for the past two years.
