WOKHA, JUL 7 (NPN): A 96-year-old man from Longla village was allegedly robbed by two unidentified persons while walking alone to Wokha town on the morning of July 7.
The victim, identified as Ekyimo Ngullie, was reportedly on foot from Longla village when he was intercepted between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. along the forested stretch between the waiting shed and the prayer centre at Saron Colony.
According to family members, the assailants allegedly covered Ngullie’s face before taking away all the cash and important documents he was carrying.
