
District Planning and Developmental Board, Wokha, held its meeting on July 9 at the ADC’s Conference Hall, Bhandari.
A DIPR report said that while reviewing the last meeting minutes, ADC Wokha Mhathung Tsanglao said that the Lotha Eloe Hoho and EE, PHED were included as co-opted members for the Clean and Plastic Free Zone, Wokha campaign.
Vice chairman and DC, Wokha, Dr. Manazir Jeelani Samoon, welcomed the officers who were recently transferred to Wokha district. The DRDA Department, highlighted its activities in the district under NRLM.
The nil result in the HSLC 2018, from GHS Longsa and GHS Changsu were also deliberated.
Chairman, DPDB Wokha and advisor for Science & Technology, IT & Communication and NRE, Mhonlumo Kikon, in his opening remark, said that the DEO Wokha should bring out a detailed report on the performance of the teachers In-charge, the teachers and the status of the mentioned schools. He told the meeting that nil results should not be repeated in the future.
Advisor for Horticulture, Mhathung Yanthan highlighted various agendas involving the needs of 39 Sanis A/C, where it was decided that the concerned department heads would submit their proposals in the next DPDB meeting for approval and action thereof.
He also mentioned that the state government will observe an Amur Falcon Conservation week in the district with various activities in the first week of November in the line with the celebration of a Mini Hornbill Festival.
On the completion of 75 years by GHSS Wokha and its upcoming Jubilee celebration, the chairman said that the interest and progress of the school was not only the look out of the school management but was partly the of responsibility of all local citizens.
