Wokha, Longsa village councils meet

With an objective to strengthen the age-old relationship between the two villages, Wokha and Longsa Village councils held its 3rd annual get-together-cum-joint meeting on December 19 at Wokha village.

In the meeting, various issues were discussed in length where both the village councils resolved to conduct a surprise visit to District Hospital Wokha in view of several complaints regarding absence of medical staff. 

The councils have also asked all medical staffs to be sincere and attend their duties.

The meeting was chaired by council secretary Wokha village and prayer was said by Wokha Village Baptist Church pastor O. Thungben Kikon. Short messages were delivered by both the village council chairmen, Zayio Ezung (LVCC) and S. Yanphamo Tungoe (WVCC).
