Wokha NGOs flay bomb blast

Likya Colony, Wokha Organizations: Likya Yankho Council (LYC), Likya Yankho Eloe Ekhüng (LYEE) and Likya Yankho Youth Organization (LYYO) Wokha town have jointly condemned the alleged bomb blast at the residence of one of its residents and ex-candidate Chophathung Odyuo around 10 pm on February 16.
A condemnation note from the three organizations said such barbaric acts have no sanction in civilized societies. They further appealed the law enforcing agencies to speedily and thoroughly investigate the incident and bring the culprit/s to book as per the law of the land.
WTTE: A separate condemnation note from Wokha Town Tsungiki Ekhung (WTTE) has strongly condemned the alleged bomb blast at the residence of one of their members and current Tsungiki Village Council chairman Janthungo Kikon at GA/Project Colony, Wokha town on the night of February 16 at around 10:40 pm.
WTTE said it viewed the incident very seriously and vociferously condemned the dastardly act committed by “anti-social elements”. WTTE further appealed the concerned authorities to promptly investigate and award befitting punishment/s to the perpetrators of such barbaric acts according to the law of the land.
