Wokha village A-Khel public Organisation (WVAKPO) and Friend’s Club of Wokha village have condemned the alleged attempt on the life of Joseph Patton of Riphyim village by unknown persons January 12 at Lalmati near Zubza while he was proceeding towards Dimapur.
In a press release, WVAKPO general secretary Zujanbemo Lotha and Club team manager Janbemo Humtsoe stated that the victim was a peace loving citizen, adding that attempting on the life of innocent citizen should be condemned by all. The two organisations demanded that the law enforcing agency initiate enquiry and apprehend the perpetrators at the earliest and award befitting punishment as per the law of the land.
