Kohima police manning Khuzama Chek gate have intercepted an Imphal bound vehicle (Winger) bearing Registration No. MN-06-6544 on January 16 at around 0100 hrs and recovered 350 bottles of banned drugs (Rancodex and Qrex) from the possession of one female passenger.
The accused was identified as L Ruth @ Yuru (65 Yrs), daughter of Lepei of Maiba village of Tadubi in Senapati district, Manipur.
A regular case in this connection has been registered vide Khuzama PS Case No. 002/15 U/S 13 DC Act and the accused was remanded into police custody for conducting further investigation.
