‘Women on Wheels’ call on Governor of Nagaland

DIMAPUR: Participants of the Amazing Namaste Foundation’s “Women on Wheels” – Car Drive Season 4 called on the Governor of Nagaland, Nand Kishore Yadav, at Lok Bhavan, Kohima, on April 28.
According to DIPR report, interacting with the group, the Governor commended the initiative for promoting women empowerment through adventure and self-driven exploration. He lauded the participants for their courage, determination and spirit of companionship.
Highlighting the essence of “unity in diversity,” Yadav said such initiatives strengthen national integration by bringing together people from different states. He encouraged the participants and praised their enthusiasm.
Emphasizing that women in India have long been empowered, he cited the example of Rani Laxmibai, noting that women are capable of achieving anything. He further underscored the need to change perceptions about the Northeast and promote deeper understanding of the region across the country.
