Women trained on piggery & poultry

A four-day training for women on “improved piggery and poultry farming” conducted by the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services (DoAH&VS) culminated on July 29 at Tseminyu.


A press release by the department informed that the training was sponsored by National Commission for Women (NCW), New Delhi and attended by 30 women from various Self Help Groups (SHGs) and individual farmers. The resource persons for the training were Dr. Imomanen Tzudir, Dr. Gwathonlo Tsela, Dr. Kevisenuo Vizo and Dr. Kekhrietsolie Keyho. Earlier, the inaugural programme on July 26 was graced by DC Tseminyu, Dr. Tinojongshi Chang.
