Won’t allow any force to create riot in Tripura: CM Saha

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Wednesday said his government will not allow any force to create riot in the name of politics, and action will be taken against those involved in post-poll violence after the announcement of tribal council election results.
In the post-poll violence, houses of many BJP workers were allegedly attacked by Tipra Motha Party (TMP) supporters, and the saffron party workers had to take shelter in relief camps.
The chief minister visited Khowai and West Tripura districts on Tuesday and on Wednesday paid a visit to some violence-hit areas of Sepahijala and South Tripura districts.
Saha said the government will never allow any force to create riot in the state in the name of politics, and the police have been asked to arrest all the attackers.
