Women Entrepreneurs Network Nagaland, in collaboration with the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), conducted a one-day capacity building workshop for aspiring and existing women entrepreneurs at MTBA Conference Hall, Mokokchung Town on March 13.
The workshop aimed to enhance the knowledge and entrepreneurial skills of women by focusing on key areas such as product improvement, pricing, packaging, marketing, accounting, and documentation. It also sought to help entrepreneurs strengthen their competitiveness in both local and wider markets.
Resource persons included Rongsenmongla Jamir, founder of Mixpick Enterprise Nagaland, who spoke on pricing, packaging, and marketing; Nengneithem Hengna, founder of Runway Nagaland, who led the session on enterprise and product development; and Alemjungla Jamir, founder of Naga Bowl Express, who conducted the session on accounting and documentation.
The sessions were interactive and provided participants with practical insights into strengthening their businesses. The workshop also served as a platform for networking and sharing experiences among women entrepreneurs, fostering collaboration and mutual learning.
The initiative highlighted the growing role of women entrepreneurs in Nagaland’s economic landscape and reaffirmed the importance of skill development, innovation, and capacity building in empowering women-led enterprises.
