Instudia, a premier institute for tech, design, and skill training in Dimapur, conducted one day workshop on “The Emergence of Artificial Intelligence and its Applications in Education”, aimed at equipping students and professionals with insights into how AI has brought transformation in daily life on April 5.
A press release by the institute informed that the workshop was headed by Director, Instudia, Daniel Changkija, along with educator, developer, and AI enthusiast, Vishal Singh Bardewa, as the resource person. Speaking at the event, Changkija emphasized the importance of adapting to technological changes pointing out that AI was no longer optional, but essential.
He said the goal was to prepare Dimapur’s youth and workforce for a future where AI literacy will be as important as computer literacy.
Bardewa said that AI was not here to replace the human, but to empower, and sooner people learn how to work with it, the more opportunities can be unlock in education and beyond.
For the students, the workshop highlighted how AI powered tools could offer personalized learning experiences tailored to individual pace and style, assist with research and project development through intelligent search and analysis and provide real-time feedback and virtual mentorship, even outside the classroom. While for the professionals, key takeaways included leveraging AI to optimize workflows and data-driven decision-making, up-skilling through AI-integrated platforms for continuous learning and enhancing creativity and efficiency in design, marketing, coding, and content generation.
