A three day State Level Workshop on Educational Evaluation in the context of NEP-2020 and NCF-2023 for secondary teacher educators and personnel of School Education, SCERT, NBSE and Samagra Shiksha, Nagaland, was held from August 28 to 30, at State College of Teacher Education (SCTE), Kohima.
The workshop was organized by SCTE and Mokokchung College of Teacher Education, Mokokchung with resource persons as Devika Nadig and Vijay Gupta, directors of Shikshangan Education Initiatives, Pune.
A press release by SCTE informed that resource persons focused on essential components of teaching cycle, “What, How and Whether, and stressed on importance of understanding content, pedagogy, and evaluating learning outcomes”. They further underscored critical role of Pre-requisite Knowledge (PRK) in learning process and highlighted significance of differentiated instruction and accelerated learning.
Earlier, the inaugural programme was graced by advisor, School Education and SCERT, Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, as special guest, and additional director, Higher Education, Dr K Nishena Nekha, served as the special guest in the valedictory programme.
