Workshop on PAI 2.0 & Thematic GPDP

A two-day State Level workshop on Panchayat Advancement Index (PAI) Version 2.0 and Thematic Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) was held from July 17 -18, 2025 at the State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD), Kohima. The workshop was held in collaboration with the Ministry of Panchayati Raj (MoPR) and NIC, New Delhi.
According to a DIPR report, Commissioner & Secretary, RD & SIRD, Thavaseelan K, highlighted the importance of implementing Thematic GPDP and rolling out PAI 2.0 across the state. He said the initiatives would promote structured and inclusive village development aligned with Local Sustainable Development Goals (LSDGs). He also urged full use of the eGram Swaraj Portal to enhance transparency and improve financial governance.
Director SIRD, Vesato, delivered the welcome address, while Project Manager NIC, New Delhi, Yogesh Kumar, gave a course briefing.
Officials from SPMU, DPMU, RD, and SIRD attended the workshop.
