World Malaria Day observed in Kiphire

Kiphire district observed World Malaria Day under the theme “Driven to End Malaria: Now We Can, Now We Must”, organised by the National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme. The programme was chaired by malaria technical supervisor Rick John. Delivering an overview of malaria status in the district, Dr. Martha, DPO (CD1), urged staff to be more active and vigilant in carrying out activities. She stressed preventive measures, early diagnosis, use of long-lasting insecticidal nets (LLINs), and timely medical treatment. Deputy CMO Dr. Kholhitso Khalo, encouraged staff to step up surveillance and enhance community engagement to achieve elimination goals.
