BN Sound Music on Friday announced that the fourth edition of World Music Day will be held at Agri Expo, 4th Mile, Chümoukedima, on June 21 under the theme, “One Night, One Stage, One Community.”
At a press conference and rehearsal session held at the venue, organizers said the annual event aims to celebrate Nagaland’s music scene while providing a platform for both emerging and established local artists. BN Sound is organizing the event for the fourth consecutive year. Addressing the media, event host Neiketuno Sechü informed that gates will open at 4:00 PM, while performances will begin at 6:00 PM. Entry tickets have been priced at Rs. 200 and will be available at the venue. This year’s lineup includes Moko Koza, Shau Evans, Sentiein Kichu, Big Dane, Neisenuo Shiuya, Aseno Metha, Visheto Assumi, Liban Ovung, Chantsu Lotha, Juz Imcha and Limi Assumi. Bands scheduled to perform include Genima, K-3F, Since 90’s and Annie’s O.K.
Speaking on behalf of BN Sound, Kanoka yeptho said the objective of the event is to showcase the abundance of musical talent in Nagaland and provide artists with opportunities to reach wider audiences.
This year’s edition will see Waza Digital serving as the official marketing and media partner. Representatives of the agency stated that they will focus on expanding the event’s reach through social media campaigns, content creation, collaborations with local creators, and targeted promotional activities.
Apart from live music performances, visitors can enjoy a variety of food options from around six to seven stalls. Organizers confirmed participation from brands including KFC and Wow! Momo alongside local entrepreneurs offering indigenous products and snacks. The evening will conclude with a DJ session featuring TC Beats, followed by a lucky draw for attendees. Inviting music lovers to attend, organizers described the event as more than just a concert, emphasizing its role in bringing together families, youth, and the wider community while supporting local artists.
