Deputy Chief Veterinary Office, Tseminyu observed World Rabies day and also conducted a free Anti Rabies vaccination camp on September 28 at Tseminyu Town.
According to Dr. Gwathonlo Tsela, VAS Tseminyu, he gave the key note address in which he stressed on the zoonotic aspects of rabies and the importance of vaccination against it. Er. Kevingoto Kulnu, EAC, Tseminyu, as the special guest of the event appreciated the department of AH and Veterinary Services for taking initiatives for control of such a deadly disease.
He also encouraged animal owners to give importance to such vaccinations and avail of the free vaccine. A total of 181 dogs were vaccinated during the vaccination camp.
