Written exam for army recruitment was held at Dimapur on July 30 where a total of 349 candidates took the test and the result of selected candidates is likely to be declared by third week of August.
According to PRO (Defence), the examination was for the physically and medically fit candidates of the recruitment rally held at Kohima from May 18 to 21. About 2000 candidates had initially appeared for recruitment for the Indian Army. The recruitment rally was for enrolment of male candidates of Nagaland state only.
