Preparations are underway at Chekiye Village Baptist Church for the 11th Western Sümi Baptist Akukuhou Küqhakulu (WSBAK) children conference, which will be held from October 4 – 6.
The conference will be held on the theme “Children of the Light” and the three-day programme is expected to draw a record participation of children from various churches in Western Sumi area.
WSBAK executive secretary, Rev. Dr. Phughoto Sema, DoCEM secretary, WSBAK Jesse. K. Yeptho and office assistant, WSBAK Dr. N. Vivi Achumi will be the speakers at the three-day conference which will also feature a traditional cultural extravaganza.
All spaces and halls for the conference have been given traditional touches.
