WSBAK Youth Olympic-2008 ends

The four day, Youth Olympic-2008 organized by Western Sumi Akukuhou Kuqhakulu (WSBAK) Youth Department concluded at Suhoi Baptist Church, here, Friday. Around one thousand youths from 40 churches under WSBAK participated in the competition which was held on the theme, ‘Athlete for Christ’.
The events in the competition included- volleyball, badminton, shot put, high jump, long jump and tug of war. The prizes and certificates of the winners were given away by executive secretary, Rev. Vitoshe Swu who also exhorted the closing ceremony.
Meanwhile, the WSBAK Youth Department has lauded the chief guest of the opening ceremony, Er. Vikishe Sema, informatics officers, Dimapur for his donation of Rs.30,000 towards the organizer.
Best Discipline team was adjudged to Sumi Baptist Church, Purana Bazar
