WSH holds first executive meeting

The new team of the Western Sumi Hoho (WSH) held its first executive council meeting on May 24 after taking over the office. 

According to WSH media cell, the meeting was attended by newly elected office bearers, area representatives and council members.

Dr. Kakheto Zhimomi, the new president of the WSH at the meeting said that the present condition of Sumi community needs to be put in order, which was in a complete mess, and for which everyone one was equally responsible.  He also called for collaborative approach from each of the member by joining hands to put the house in order so that change could take place.  “We need a paradigm shift in our mindset and transform the current system of our community”, he added. Dr. Kakheto further appealed to the village chiefs, village councils, colony councils, tribal hohos leaders and churches under its jurisdiction to unite and work together inorder to bring changes in the society.
