WSH proposes ILP reform

DIMAPUR, JUN 13 (NPN)

Western Sümi Hoho (WSH) has proposed wide-ranging reforms to strengthen the Inner Line Permit (ILP) enforcement and monitoring system, particularly in the districts of Dimapur, Niuland, and Chümoukedima. The proposal categorised suggestions into short-term and long-term objectives. Key short-term measures included integrating ILP with Aadhaar, PAN, and EPIC for biometric verification, QR/barcode-enabled ILPs, 24/7 manned ILP checkpoints etc.
