WSH takes bold step towards combating crimes

Western Sumi Hoho (WSH) has taken a bold step towards fighting crimes and promoting security especially within its jurisdiction.

This was revealed in a letter from WSH president Dr. Kakheto Zhimomi to the Commissioner of Police (CP) Dimapur. In the letter, the WSH president appraised the CP that the hoho has resolved to deal with any Sumi criminal, be it from any faction of NPG or any individual as per Sumi customary laws and practices.
Further, Dr. Zhimomi stated that besides the law of the land, the WSH was compelled to “clean the menace of criminal activities, which has been plaguing our society and our land” by dealing with criminals through Sumi customary laws and practices and as safeguarded by the Indian constitution.
In the light of the WSH resolution, Dr. Zhimomi requested the CP to furnish to the WSH office, the name and details of any Sumi individual involved in criminal activities that leads to arrest.
