Western Sümi Kükami Hoho (WSKH) and Western Sümi Youth Front (WSYF) held a meeting with Sumi leaders of various Naga political groups at Western Sümi Hoho office Tuesday and deliberated on Naga political issue and upcoming jubilee of WSKH. During the meeting, WSKH and WSYF extended their gratitude to all Naga political leaders for accepting their invitation and their positive response.
Chairing the meeting, WSKH president Vihuto Yeptho called upon the leaders of different Naga political organisations to reconcile among themselves and respect and honour each other so as to achieve honourable and acceptable Naga political solution.
All Naga political leaders emphasised on the need to resolve the Naga issue at the earliest in the larger interest of Nagas. They also called for peace and harmony among different Naga tribes, especially at a time when all people were waiting for the final Naga political solution. Stating that Nagas had suffered for long and could not afford any more bloodshed in their land, the meeting urged Nagas to pray for early solution. WSKH and WSYF office-bearers also asked the Naga political leaders to extend their support and cooperation, in terms of logistics and materials, to the upcoming WSKH jubilee scheduled to be celebrated in December this year.
WSYF president Mughavi Awomi, GB, WSYF general secretary Bohoi Yeptho and WSKH vice-president Viyishe Chishi, GB were among those who spoke on the occasion. This was stated in a press release by WSKH media cell.
