WSSU appeals to DMC and administration

The Western Sumi Students Union (WSSU) has appealed to the district administration and Dimapur District Council to monitor price of commodities during the festive season adding that “some vested business establishments are taking advantage of poor customers from far flung areas”. A press release by WSSU president, Khekato Sumi and general secretary, Kughato Achumi further stated that the prices of commodities, especially clothes are “increasing at an alarming rate” and that showrooms are charging maximum price even for clothes without branded tags.
