Western Sumi Students Union (WSSU) has appealed to the Airport Authority of India (AAI) Dimapur to cancel the work order of Odisha based contractor, Nabalok Das, for annual maintenance contract.
In a press release, Western Sumi Students Union president, A Kughato Assumi and secretary Kawoka V Awomi said that the work order should be cancelled so as to not create further misunderstandings and to refrain from any anti social element, which could derail the work progress and development of the lone airport in Nagaland.
The union also cautioned that it would not tolerate any provocation tactics that would undermine the capabilities of Nagaland Airport Contractors Union Dimapur (NACUD).
