
Three-day centennial celebration of Wokha Town Baptist Church (WTBC) concluded with a short consecration programme conducted by Purana Bazar Lotha Baptist Church Dimapur pastor Rev. C. Yanthan at the concluding service here at local ground, Wokha Sunday.
Delivering centennial concluding message, Kohima Lotha Baptist Church senior pastor Rev. Mhathung Lotha said “if God was to be our guide, God would make everything possible for us”.
He also said the congregation should honour and respect the jubilee stone and the pioneers of the church because it was due to them that they had come thus far. Reverend also hoped that with the celebration of this jubilee, there would be peace and harmony, cooperation and unity in the church.
Delivering jubilee greetings, CBCNEI general secretary Rev. Prof. Akheto Sema said jubilee was a time of thanksgiving to God for His faithfulness and the fine works in “our” lives. Reverend, who was once an active member of WTBC, reminded the congregation that jubilee was also a time for forgiveness, and for restoration of relationship with one another and with God.
New Tssori Baptist Church pastor Rev. Nzeo Yanthan said the invocation, WTBC centenary choir, Upper Subansari Baptist Churches’ Association, and elders from KLBC presented special numbers at the concluding service led by WTBC assistant pastor Rev. Khonbemo P. Kikon.
