Wokha Town Lakhuti Ekhung (WTLE) has organsied general meeting cum get together on January 10 under the banner “Nzontsu Khumshumta-2015” at Krishi Vigyan Kendra Premise, Wokha.
K Elias Lotha, DIGP (HQ) Nagaland, in his greetings, has challenged the youth to begin their studies through God alone by quoting Psalm 37:32 and to acquire their education prudently. He further assured to extend his co-operation towards the Ekhung’s in particular and the village in general. Elias did his schooling from Lakhuti.
During the second session, the union has elected new team of officials for the tenure 2015-17 led by Chibo Yanthan as chairman, W Rentsamo Humtsoe as vice chairman, Benjamin Ngullie as secretary, N Chenithung Yanthan as joint secretary, R John Kikon as treasurer, Chenio Yanthan and James Yanthan as auditors and Thunglamo odyuo as press secretary.
Earlier, Rev. Wosamo Humsoe, home evangelist BTBC, said the invocation, while welcome song and special numbers were presented by Pongdenro Okho and Wokha Town Lakhuti Eloe Okho respectively. Rev. David Yanthan, field evangelist KBES, blessed the new office bearers.
