A team consisting of eight members of Tenyimi Women’s Union Dimapur (TWUD) and Tenyimi Students’ Dimapur conducted a tour to Manipur, Assam and Nagaland state from June 20-25 which spearheaded by TWUD president.
According to press release by TWUD, the main purpose of the tour was to mobilize and create awareness among Tenyimi so as to consolidate the lineage shared from the same ancestor. The press release stated that the objective was to promote love and unity amongst the people of Tenyimi race.
