Deputy chief minister and BLP Legislature Party leader, Y. Patton, has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Lipok Aier, vice president of BJP Mokokchung district.
In a condolence message issued through the Media Cell, Patton recalled that Lipok Aier joined the BJP on September 19, 2022, and was subsequently elected as vice president of the district unit. He was also actively involved in grassroots governance and community service, having served as executive member of Sungkomen Ward Yimten for five years and as treasurer for another term.
Aier also held the post of treasurer of Sungkomen Ward Sporting Club, was a member of Ao Cooperative Society Mokokchung, and served in the executive body of Sungratsu Senso Senden Mokokchung.
Describing him as a sincere and dedicated karyakarta, Patton said Aier worked tirelessly for the welfare of the people and the growth of the party.
Patton conveyed condolences to the bereaved family, friends and BJP colleagues, and prayed for strength and comfort during this difficult time. He also prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
