A Yanang Konyak has taken over charge as the 16th chairman of the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) with effect from February 1.
A Yanang Konyak has pioneered numerous works for the development of Konyak language and also authored several books.
Before joining the NPSC, Yanang Konyak worked with Students’ Christian Movement of India (Northeast Region) as its secretary and was also administrator cum treasurer of Alam Kaphen College (Wangkhao Government College), Mon.
The officers and staff of the Commission had welcomed its chairman in a formal function held on February 13 wherein the new chairman expressed his gratitude to the Government of Nagaland for having reposed on him the responsibility of the chairmanship of the Commission.
He has assured utmost sincerity and dedication in the interest of the future Naga generation.
