Deputy chief minister, Yanthungo Patton, who is in Goa campaigning for BJP candidate Shripad Naik from North Goa Constituency for the third phase Lok Sabha elections held series of meeting and public interaction from May 1 to 3.
During his visit, Patton held a series of meetings and public interactions to garner support for Shripad Naik the party candidate from North Goa Constituency.
According to media cell of Dy.CMO, Patton was accompanied by advisor of Prisons and Printing and Stationery, Government of Nagaland, Er Kropol Vitsu and Rohan Khaunte, Goa minister of Tourism, IT and Printing and Stationery.
Patton met with BJP karyakartas (workers) and citizens from all walks of life.
He highlighted the welfare schemes and development agenda implemented by the BJP-led NDA government under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Patton informed the party workers that government’s commitment was to ensure that no one was left behind.
Patton also held key meetings with Goa governor P.S. Sreedharan Pillai, chief minister Pramod Sawant, and state BJP president Sadanand Shet.
He also participated in door-to-door campaigning with Goa MLA Micheal Lobo and held a roadshow in Porvorim.
Patton also attended the campaign program organised by Dallai Lobo, Goa MLA.
Meanwhile, Patton expressed confidence that the BJP will secure a resounding mandate from the people of Goa to continue the development momentum in the state.
