Yachem Baptist Church (YBC) and Noksosang Baptist Church (NBC) youth department jointly organised a “friendship night” on August 6, at Yachem Baptist Church under the theme “love your friends at all time (Proverbs 17:17)”, with YBC associate women pastor Honla Phom, as speaker.
Focussing on the theme, speaker called upon the youths of two churches to have a realistic concept of friendship through extending helping hands to each other in times/situation of need. She emphasized on the ability to make sacrifice towards each other for common well being. She said that inspite of adverse parities among the individuals they needed to maintain peace among all mankind and in the society.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Toimei Phom while invocation was pronounced by YBC ex-pastor Pangten Phom. Other activities such as choreography, songs, musical drama etc were highlighted during the programme. Vote of thanks was pronounced by YBC youth associate pastor Chongmei.
