YDUK clarifies on Kiphire event on Feb 7

Displaced Yimchungers from Kiphire town have reacted to the news item published on February 7 under the caption, “memorial candle light service held in Kiphire for slain couple”, wherein it was mentioned that four vehicles were burned. 
A press note by Displaced Yimchunger from Kiphire (YDUK) president, C. Nioji and executive chairman, S. Lunso stated that the actual figures mentioned in the news for vehicles burnt was false and misleading. 
YDUK therefore has given in detail the vehicle owners and registration numbers of the vehicles that were burnt: Ato, Bolero Pick Up NL-07-5514; AkumMahindra Bolero NL-02C-5823; Yimkiumong Mahindra Armada NL-01-9275; Mahtre Maruti Van WB-X02-4250; Rhakchi Maruti Gypsy NL-01C-0655; Lakiumong Maruti Ecco Nl-01H-4756; K.Nioji Maruti 800 NL-03-4693; Thsanshimong Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 NL-03-5242; H. Athrongba Maruti Van NL-01C-6096; Shokhum Bajaj Discover 135cc NL-01E-7401; R. Tsuyibam Maruti 800 NL-03-5163 and Pensokiu Pulsar NL-07-2213. 
Displaced Yimchunger from Kiphire town stated that it was astonished to find “such distorted and irresponsible statement bringing anger and pain in times of struggle to restart life” since being vacated from Kiphire.
