As reported in Nagaland Post, the State cabinet on July 31 approved the nomenclature/spelling of Yimchunger to Yimkhiung. In this regard, the State government through a notification has rectified the nomenclature “Yimchunger” Naga to “Yimkhiung” Naga.
It stated that the name “Yimkhiung” would be used in all official correspondence. The order was issued with the approval of the Cabinet on July 31, 2021.
