Yimyu Ward Council conducts sanitation drive

Yimyu Ward Council (YWC) conducted a sanitation drive on June 11 in and around the ward, under the theme “Yimyu Ward Sanitation Day”.
A press release by YWC stated that the main bulk of work consisted of cleaning up clogged drainages caused by landslides, overgrown weeds etc., carried out by members of the ward council, and by also hiring an excavator to aid in their work.
The council further decided to make it into a yearly event to be held on second Saturday of June annually.
