Yingli College to celebrate National Sports Day on Aug 27

DIMAPUR, AUG 25 (NPN): The NSS Wing of Yingli College, Longleng will organise a special programme on “National Sports Day 2026” in connection with the nationwide initiative “Khelo India Dialogue – Khel Ki Baat PM Modi Ke Saath”. The event will be held on August 27, at 9:00 AM at Borgohain Hall, Yingli College.
According to a DIPR report, the programme is being conducted under the directives of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, the Sports Authority of India (SAI) and MY Bharat. It will feature a live screening and discussion of the Khelo India Dialogue held on August 24, a talk on the importance of sports and fitness, the Fit India pledge and an interaction with sportspersons from Longleng district.
All students of Yingli College, NSS volunteers, NCC volunteers, non-volunteers, teaching and non-teaching staff, stakeholders, officials, NGOs, MY Bharat volunteers, the Department of Youth Resources & Sports, Nehru Yuva Kendra and the youth of Longleng district have been invited to witness and participate in the celebration.
