Yitachu inspects black-topped Meluri helipad

Minister school education and SCERT, Yitachu Friday inspected the newly black-topped helipad at Meluri while also inspected the preparation works for the inauguration of Meluri Town Council. 
Renovation and plastering of helipad at Meluri was initiated to facilitate smooth landing of choppers in the helipad following crash landing of a chopper of Disaster Management Department in Meluri on November 24, 2015. 
Meanwhile, Meluri town has undergone a major facelift to welcome state Chief Minister T R Zeliang, who would inaugurate the much awaited full-fledged Meluri Town Council on April 2. 
Preparation is in full swing where all business establishments and road leading to the venue whitewashed and potholes filled throughout the town.
The occasion would also be graced by Yitachu as guest of honour. 
On the occasion, chief minister would also be unveiling the monolith.
Short speeches will be delivered by parliamentary secretary for Municipal Affairs and Economics & Statistics, R Tohanba and Pochury Hoho president Penthu.
