The anti-ragging cell of Yemhi Memorial College (YMC) Dimapur, organised an orientation programme on anti-ragging on September 16 in the college auditorium.
YMC informed that the main objective of the programme was to create awareness and sensitize the students regarding menace of ragging and ways to curb it from happening within the educational institution and in hostels.
The students were also informed on the meaning, effects and lawful action against ragging so as to create a holistic and friendly learning environment for all the students. At the programme, the YMC Anti-Ragging Squad was formed and new members were inducted.
