DIMAPUR: A virtual interaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi under the Viksit Vibrant Village Programme (VVP) 2026 was held at the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, on July 26, 2026.
The programme was attended by 20 participants, including youth representatives from Kohima district who had taken part in VVP 2026, stated a DIPR report.
During the nationwide interaction, the Prime Minister commended the participants for their contribution towards strengthening the vision of Viksit Bharat through active engagement with India’s border villages. He highlighted the strategic importance of border areas, underscored the need to preserve their rich cultural heritage, and encouraged the youth to serve as ambassadors of national integration, community development and self reliance.
Participants joined the live session with keen interest and expressed appreciation for the opportunity to interact with the Prime Minister.
The programme concluded on an inspiring note, motivating the youth to continue contributing towards nation building and the holistic development of India’s vibrant border villages.
