
A group of like-minded young individuals who wishes to uplift the society through their act of kindness by getting involved in social services initiated filling up of potholes in and around Dimapur city for a smoother ride for the people.
Taking the heavy traffic during daytime into consideration, the group in their phase one project started the work at around 8:30 p.m. here Wednesday night.
Around 45 volunteers consisting of members from the Act of Kindness Movement besides some youths Sinai Ministry started the work from Bata Charali and then headed to the New Flyover Junction, Women Cell, Nagarjang junction, Burma camp junction to Hotel Senti Bridge.
Besides the work to make a smoother ride for Dimapur, the group also have plans of coming up with other voluntary works for the betterment of the society.
All the works were being carried with open hearted donations from well wishers and youths from different walks of life.
The core members of the group are Lenti Aier, Kishor Das, Susan Lotha, Supong Imchen, Imti, Vika, Rhesie, Seyie, Adrian and Mahung. The group has urged the cooperation and support of the public in its future endevours.
