YounthNet in collaboration with the Village Adoption Committee (VA) 8th Western Angami AC, Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) Sechu-Zubza, Kohima and Kohima Science College, Jotsoma organized a seminar at the Community Hall, Khonoma Village.
The event, centered on empowering youth and fostering tourism development, exemplified a shared vision for progress and opportunity.
Divided into two sessions, the seminar commenced with a focus on career counseling. Assistant Professors from the Geology Department, Kohima Science College, Francis Kikon and Tokatoli Achumi, imparted invaluable insights into diverse career pathways. The subsequent session delved into capacity building for tourist guides, led by expert Kejaroko Pier.
His expertise, coupled with insights from Razouvikhol Luho, Nodal Officer of YouthNet, ignited an entrepreneurial spark among participants, encouraging innovation and growth in Nagaland’s private sectors. In a gesture of solidarity, the Village Adoption Committee (VAC) symbolized support by gifting a PA system to the Khonoma Village Council.
Meanwhile, stationary were distributed to Class 10 students from Christian Welfare School, St. John Bosco School, and Government High School, Khonoma.
