YR&S department, YouthNet conduct LaunchPad phase 2

LaunchPad phase 2, an initiative of department of Youth Resources and Sports and implemented by YouthNet with support from department of School Education, Nagaland, commenced at Dr. Neilhouzhü Kire (DNK) GHSS, Kohima from January 18 to 19. 

A press release by the organisers stated that, during the opening ceremony of the 2nd phase, Libemo Jami, PRO of Youth Resources and Sports spoke on the importance of career development to the students. He said that class 12 being an important crossroad for students, it was imperative to prepare oneself with a definite career plan and also understand the scenario of work and opportunities available in Nagaland and beyond.

“LaunchPad” is a career guidance and employability skill development programme explicitly designed for students pursuing their 12th standard in all Government Higher Secondary Schools across Nagaland. The LaunchPad team will be touring all the 12 districts from January 2021 onwards with the objective to guide the students discover their ideal path and prepare them for the world of work.
