YSU condemn assault by SSB

Yanpha Students Union (YSU) has supported the press statement by Wokha District Village Council Chairman Association (WDVCCA). They strongly condemned the alleged assault on innocent Naga villagers in the border areas by the “so called neutral forces” Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) on different occasions.
In a press statement, YSU president, Pidemo Tungoe has claimed that the SSB personnel in the bordering areas had been harassing innocent Naga villager on many occasions. It had, instead of protecting and safeguarding the people, created a fear psychosis in the minds of the innocents living in border areas. 
Strongly condemning the assault on youths of Yanpha Village and village chairman & Wokha District Village Council Chairman Association advisor, Nlumbemo Humtsoe on November 27, the Yanpha Students Union has urged the administration to intervene and seek necessary action, lest they extend their assault to more villages.
