DIMAPUR: Road repairing work within Pungro Town has been undertaken through the combined efforts of the Yimkhiung Youth Organization (YYO), Border Road Organization (BRO) and M/S Likimro Enterprise.
The initiative aims to improve road conditions, ensure smoother transportation and provide safer movement for commuters and the public. The collaborative effort reflects a shared commitment to addressing the long standing need for road maintenance and infrastructure improvement in the area.
The repairing work is expected to ease travel difficulties caused by damaged stretches, particularly during heavy use and adverse weather conditions. YYO expressed appreciation to the BRO and Likimro Enterprise for their support and cooperation in taking up the work for the benefit of the people of Pungro. The organisations appealed to the public to extend cooperation and patience while the work is in progress, and urged road users to exercise caution and follow safety measures in the repair zones.
