YYO flags irregularities in govt offices

Yimkhiung Youth Organisation (YYO) conducted a two-day inspection of government offices in Pungro Town, Kiphire, on June 12 and 13 to assess functioning, interact with staff, and identify challenges. In a press release, YYO said that several offices were found locked and non-functional for long periods. It pointed out that such shortcomings require urgent corrective measures.
YYO said the visit aimed at promoting efficiency and accountability, and assured its support in addressing gaps. It called on all government officials posted in Yimkhiung areas to carry out their duties sincerely. The organisation also warned that irregular and non-performing offices would face stern action if issues are not resolved promptly.
