Yimkhiung Youth Organisation (YYO) has resolved to implement its resolution to “fight against drugs and pledge against drug abuse”. A press release by YYO informed that the resolution was adopted during its foundation and thanksgiving celebration on May 28 at Pungro Town with village representatives and leaders from different organisations.
In this regard, YYO has strongly warned those individuals or groups involved in drug dealings and consumers that strong action would be taken if caught, leading to expulsion from the community.
Meanwhile, YYO has informed that its executive meeting has been convened on May 30 at Chessore Headquarters and June 1 at Chessore Headquarters. Representatives of respective zones have been requested to attend the meeting.
